Background

Sofi looked as though she would have followed the footsteps of her family, being born to two retired career officers and youngest sibling to three up-and-coming shooting stars in the ranks. Despite a near-prodigical performance in the academies, Sofi entered into the IVth Legion as a field Medicus stationed in Bozja and faced a tour of complete mediocrity.
A violent verbal alteraction with two superior officers resulted in Sofi being reprimanded to auxilliary duties on base, and due to lax structure within the Legion, was picked up by the local Warmachina commander.
From now on, Sofi's days consisted of feet up on the desk in a windowless box, inputting coordinates and retrieving information from mindless kill Machina day-in and day-out, slowly becoming disollusioned with the noble concept of service.
While remotely controlling a Vanguard unit in a sensitive operation involving the use of automated slashers to corral Bozjan resistance into a killzone, and operating a Vanguard to finish the job; the Pureblood showed restraint, maiming members of the resistance until a retreat was forced. A visiting Tribunus Militum saw the whole thing, and after an explanation from Sofi, offered her a place in the 1st Legion instead of a court martial.
A voluntary transfer was approved in less than a week and so Sofi joined the nascent Specialis Liberandum Servitium, a specialized policing & rescue organization part of the 1st Legion, and allowed Sofi to practice her passion of medicine again. Even as Garlemald collapsed, remained steadfast, using her skills to aid the civilian populace as well she could.

Personality

The Garlean known as Sofi is a bit of a enigma, often engaging in people when not being professional, Sofi keeps an emotional guard up, often giving out sarcastic remarks in an attempt to deflect from her guard and lighten any mood.
Despite her often ice-cold composure, especially under pressure, Sofi can commonly be seen sporting a forlorn look when she believes nobody is looking or she is alone.
Sofi finds herself constantly thinking in a practical manner, often trying to do what must be done over her own emotional desires, often dangerously so in cases where her job is involved
Despite this, her moral compass has a slight darker side, as growing up, the Pureblood wished to be a surgeon simply for the praise. A trait that still shows itself today.
Sofi enjoys pursuits of the mind the most, reading, drawing and building model kits of Garlean Warmachina: spending much of her time this way, or spending time cooking.
